Spa Director Diploma
For managers who already run a spa and want the multi-site, hotel-group and P&L ownership skills of a director.
A spa director is judged on a different scorecard from a spa manager: revenue per available treatment hour across several outlets, capital projects that pay back, a leadership bench that does not walk when the GM changes. The Spa Director Diploma is six months of that work, taught by people who hold or have held the title.

What you leave with
A board-ready business plan assessed by a practising spa director, and Diploma-level credit toward CSM-ISM Fellow status.
Who this is for
You already run a spa. You may be a hotel spa manager whose group is asking you to oversee three properties, an owner opening a second site, or a manager who wants to move to a resort brand. Entry requires two years in a management role, or the Spa Management Certificate plus one year.
The capstone
Every diploma candidate writes a full business plan — a new concept, a renovation, an acquisition, or a turnaround of a spa they know. It includes a five-year P&L, a capital schedule, a staffing model and a marketing plan, and it is defended live to two faculty members. Graduates keep the document; several have used it to raise funding or win a promotion.
Ten live sessions
Monthly two-hour sessions cover the module in progress and one guest topic: working with a hotel asset manager, negotiating a product-house contract, reading a feasibility study, wellness real estate. Sessions are recorded and the cohort stays in a private group after graduation.

Questions
Is the Diploma a degree?
No. It is a professional diploma issued by the Institute. Its value is the capstone plan and the assessment by working directors, not academic credit.
Can my employer pay?
Most do. We invoice employers directly and can run the Diploma as an in-house cohort — see corporate training.
