Spa Front Desk & Guest Experience
Receptionists and spa concierges are the first and last touchpoint. Bookings, yield, retail and recovery — done properly.
Spa receptionist jobs are searched about 880 times a month in the UK alone, and the role is where revenue is quietly won or lost: an empty 2 pm slot that could have been filled, a gift voucher not offered, a complaint answered badly. Four weeks, thirty hours, and a desk-standards manual you keep.
Who it is for
Spa receptionists, hotel front-office staff rotating into spa, salon coordinators.
Modules
- Booking systems & diary yield
- Telephone, email and chat standards
- Arrival, consultation and hand-over
- Retail, gift vouchers and memberships at the desk
- Complaints and service recovery
- Reporting: no-shows, utilisation, average spend
What you leave with
Front Desk certificate and a desk-standards manual you adapt for your own spa.
What changes on the desk
Learners leave with scripts for the phone and email, a diary-yield routine (fill the gaps, protect the peaks), a retail and voucher habit built into checkout, and a complaint procedure that ends with a rebooking instead of a review. Reporting covers no-shows, utilisation and average spend per guest.
Delivery
Four modules a week apart, two live sessions, and a role-play assessment on a recorded call. Suitable for hotel front-office staff rotating into the spa and for salon coordinators.

Questions
Which booking software do you teach?
None in particular. The routines work in any diary. Our software guide compares the common systems.
Can a spa enrol its whole desk team?
Yes — team pricing from three learners. See corporate training.
