A retreat is a spa with a calendar, a kitchen and a bed. Guests stay for days, programmes have a clinical spine — an Ayurvedic physician, a yoga teacher, a nutritionist — and the pricing is a package, not a menu. Running one well is a different job from running a day spa, and this eight-week course is built for the people doing it in Kerala, Goa, Sri Lanka, Bali and increasingly in Europe.

What you will build
A programme document for a retreat of your choosing (a 7-day Panchakarma, a 5-day sleep retreat, a 3-day yoga weekend): daily rhythm, clinical protocols and who is responsible for them, kitchen plan, staffing roster, pricing and what is included, and the guest journey from enquiry to follow-up.
Regulation and ethics
Ayurveda is a regulated system of medicine in India (AYUSH) and unregulated almost everywhere else. The course covers how to describe treatments honestly in each market, what a physician must sign off, and the insurance a retreat needs for international guests.

No. This is a management course; the clinical role belongs to the physician and the course teaches you how to work with one.
Is it relevant outside India?
Yes — the retreat model is the same whether the spine is Ayurveda, yoga, thermal bathing or sleep science.
